Ronald Rock, Chief Executive Officer

Ron is responsible for overall operations of Knowledge Rules and the development of new business. Prior to founding Knowledge Rules, Ron was CEO of EMS360, Inc., a consumer marketing company specializing in portfolio targeting, segmentation and one-to-one marketing programs for Fortune 1000 companies.

From 1998 to 2000 Ron was Executive Vice President of Pegasystems (Nasdaq: PEGA) in charge of business development, marketing, product development, training, customer appreciation programs and partnerships.

From 1994 to 1998, Ron was Vice President of eCommerce at Advanta Corporation (currently Fleet), the 6th largest issuer of Visa/MasterCard where he was a Pegasystems customer responsible for launching new products and integrating them with the existing Pegasystems CRM platform.

From 1992 to 1994, Ron was a senior executive at Kelly Services (Nasdaq: KELYA) where he was responsible for strategic business and product development in the emerging auxiliary labor market space.

Ron earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from LaSalle University in Philadelphia PA.

Eugene A. Bonte, Chief Operating Officer

Gene is responsible for the internal business planning of the company as well as lending his years of operations expertise to key accounts by providing executive oversight to strategic programs. Prior to founding Knowledge Rules, Gene has been an independent executive consultant working with seed-stage companies including a year as interim CEO at QTL Biosystems in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

From April 1996 to 1999, Gene was Vice President of the Market, Strategy, and Delivery Division at Pegasystems Inc. in Cambridge, MA. During his tenure, the company completed a successful IPO and grew from $22 million in 1995 to $76 million in 1999.

In 1988, Gene was a founder of Object Design, Inc., (eXcelon Corporation, NASDAQ: EXLN) which was acquired by Progress Software. While at Object Design, he held a number of executive positions in marketing, product management and finance. In 1994, Inc. Magazine recognized the company as the fastest growing privately held company in the United States. The company raised over $36 million from venture and corporate partners.

Gene earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Economics from Johns Hopkins University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Tim Panagos, Chief Business Technologist

Tim is responsible for staff development and dissemination of best-practices globally. He is focused on process improvement, solution design, community-based knowledge management, and the development of intellectual property which speeds delivery and ensures product quality. Before Knowledge Rules, Tim provided strategic BPM consulting to companies ranging from Fortune 100 companies like Citibank to sector innovators such as Sentient Jet. He also managed PegaTRICKS.com, the first online community for developers of Pegasystems-based, business process automation solutions.

From 2003 to 2005, Tim was Managing Partner of The MOT Group LLC, a provider of advanced development services for Fortune 1000 companies implementing Pegasystems’ PRPC suite of rules-based, BPM solutions.

From 1994 to 2003, Tim was a leader in product development at Pegasystem in roles ranging from field engineering to product management to systems design. His most recent position as Director of Technology Evolution focused on bridging the gap between the PegaWORKS and PRPC product-lines and working with innovating customers to explore the implications of the new BPM/BPA architectures in their businesses.

Tim studied computer science at the University of New Hampshire and earned a Masters of Science in the Management of Technology issued jointly from the Sloan School of Management and the School of Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Elaine Eckert, Chief Financial Officer

Elaine is responsible for the financial and accounting functions of the organization. She brings over twenty-four years of experience in financial management and operations management to the company.

Prior to joining Knowledge Rules in 2006, Elaine worked at ADVISORport, Inc., as the Vice President of Operations where she directed the billing operations and managed the policy and procedure process for all operational areas.

From 1997 to 2000, Elaine was a Director for Prudential Insurance where she oversaw the operations for various departments within the Individual Insurance Group consisting of approximately 350 people.

Prior to Prudential, Elaine spent fourteen years at Verizon where she held positions in various capacities, including financial reporting, external reporting and operations management. She also was at Arthur Andersen’s Philadelphia office where she was in the Emerging Business division.

Elaine is a graduate of LaSalle University with a B.S. in Business Administration and is a CPA in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Richard Smith, Executive Vice President, Consulting Services

Richard works with some of Knowledge Rules’ most challenging accounts, bringing expertise in technology and business process reengineering to solve complex problems in both financial services and health insurance verticals. Prior to founding Knowledge Rules, Richard spent 20 years, as a founding employee, at Pegasystems where he played a variety of roles over his distinguished career. His most recent roles include Director of Professional Services and Director of e-Merging Services where he was responsible for migrating customers from Pegasystems legacy mainframe and VAX systems to its Unix-Based client service offering. Additionally, Richard was a senior leader on the project to develop the application for Pegasystems’ newest BPM product, PRPC. During his tenure, Richard worked extensively with Pegasystems’ largest customers and technologies spanning the full range from IBM mainframes, DEC VAX and Unix operating systems.

Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Harvard University.

David Koopman, Executive Vice President, Sales and Business Development

Dave is responsible for sales and business development with a focus on ensuring that each account is highly satisfied with the results from each project. Prior to joining Knowledge Rules, he spent five years at Pegasystems spearheading their entrance into the healthcare market – focusing on Business Process Management and Customer Relationship Management applications. During this time he led cross-functional teams resulting in the acceptance of over 15 mission-critical applications across major payers including 12 Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans.

From 1994 to 1997, Dave worked at Telespectrum, a multi-center outsourced services organization where he served as director of business development focusing on the healthcare and financial services industries.

Dave spent seven years, from 1988 to 1994, in the coated thin films industry where first he was the worldwide sales director for MPI, then in 1992, was a co-founder of Reflex Technologies, a successful start-up provider of specialty insulation materials for aerospace medical equipment and cryogenic applications.

Dave earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Babson College.

Charles Paumelle, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA

Charles is responsible for developing and managing Knowledge Rules business in the United Kingdom and Europe. Prior to joining Knowledge Rules, Charles was Head of Online at Dell where he led growth of B2B internet sales. From 2000 to 2003, Charles was Global eBusiness Manager for Shell Petroleum’s LPG division.

Charles also spent 6 years at Pegasystems from 1995 to 2000 in various sales and marketing management roles in EMEA. He helped Pega establish a foothold in continental Europe by signing new customers and opening new geographies and industries.

Charles earned a Masters in Business from Audencia Nantes (France) and Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and is a Six Sigma practitioner.

Steve Ketteringham, Business Technology Director, EMEA

Steve is responsible for the technical delivery and architecture vision for the European region. Prior to joining Knowledge Rules, Steve spent 8 years at Pegasystems from 1995 to 2003. During this period, Steve worked in a number of roles, including technical sales support manager and European product development manager where he established an applications development team to design and build core application components of the product suite.

In addition to these roles, Steve held the position of Design Architect for customer applications where he was responsible for designing high performance, robust and testable solutions in a variety of vertical markets including, credit card, private banking, call center, and money transfer.

Steve has experience in implementing solutions across multiple platforms including SUN, AIX, and Microsoft. Prior to Pegasystems, Steve spent 15 years as an engineer in the design, development, testing and support of systems and components at Tristate Technologies, TIS / Mysis, MainDec, and IDEA.

Steve studied Electronics and Computer Engineering in college (Higher National Diploma).

Pegasystems Adds Knowledge Rules to Strategic Alliance Program Expands Pool of Customer Implementation Resources

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., January 31, 2006 — Pegasystems Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGA), the leader in smart business process management announced today that it has entered into a strategic alliance agreement with Knowledge Rules, Inc., a global BPM services firm focused on providing Pegasystems-based solutions to the financial services, insurance and healthcare industries. Under the terms of the agreement, Knowledge Rules will offer consulting and implementation services to organizations deploying Pegasystems’ flagship PegaRULES Process Commander (PRPC) software, PRPC-based industry frameworks, or legacy PegaWORKS product line. Pegasystems will provide training and certification to Knowledge Rules consulting staff members for Pegasystems products. This relationship will enable Knowledge Rules to leverage Pegasystems support personnel and services and provide Pegasystems access to Knowledge Rules BPM consulting services expertise in financial services and healthcare.

Financial Services – Credit Card

The Knowledge Rules’ team has credit card experience in both the business and technology side of implementations. The Company has worked with the largest card processors and six of the top card issuers in Credit, Customer Service and Collections BPM applications. Money Transfer & Payments
